New WORK At New Expo

The expo in the Chiellerie went very well for me. Since then my creativity got bigger and bigger. It gives me so much energy when I share...
I made four 3D collages and had a lot of fun making it. They are called: "Candyshop", "Forever and ever", "My Girl" and "Iron Woman". You can see them at the Wolvenstraat 23.

Populair Tabasco

I must say, I was happily surprised when I found out my tabasco drawing was one of the favourites at the expo.
I'm sad that I didn't met the German couple that bought my work, but I wish them a lot of happiness with it!

Shoe nr 1

From the 28th of August I have an exposition with Eva B. and Lisa Love (and others) in De Chiellerie, Amsterdam. Because of this I'm sorting out all my work. That's why I found all (like the bird) these old drawings.
This shoe I made for a girl that studied at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute.

birdie

Lambiek was our bird. First we thought he was a male, so we called him Lambiek. Lambiek is a cartoonmember in the Dutch comics Suske and Wiske .
Later we found out Lambiek was a girl. She even lay some eggs.
She was funny and tried to escape into the garden. I was young and didn't understand that that was what she wanted most.

Anna Mouglalis

I had her name wrong, but that was because I was struck by her beauty.
This is one of my old drawings.

On every corner a church.
The second corner even prettier than the first.
In every church little scarfs to cover me up.
Very special, but they always gives me a strange feeling, churches.

Every shop had purple in the windows; a lot, A LOT of women, men, kids, grandma's and pa's were wearing purple and purple and purple. It made me wonder if it had something to do with the pope... or just with the latest fashion that I didn't now of yet...

Nick Hornby wrote a book, it brought me in London while I was on the Island Procida.
Not a bad thing.
It was very funny and sharp: A long way down.

I made this drawing and the one I posted yesterday on the terras of Il Caffe Arabo.
It had the best arabic snacks I could imagine (you don't find arbic snacks very often in Itali).
I think the most relaxed and nice people from Napoli all came together here!

She is such an original girl!

Rosie's birthday part IV

Of course I had to be in the collage too.
When Roos and I where in Israel we felt flowery every day.
Happy times!
p.s. that dress, Roos is wearing? She made it herself!
Rosie's birthday part II

Peach Soerja was referring to Roos' strange humor.
Oh, the guy, you also saw in central park?
That's Roses boyfriend.
lucky bastard.
Rosie's birthday

Roos wanted a lot of things. One of them was a trip to NY.
She got it.
But what made her really happy, was the way we made her feel special that day.
Erin made a big chocolate pie and Shirah bought a singing candle.
The table was perfectly filled with the best food beacuse of Shirahs and Lammies cooking skills.
I made her a little journey with collages.
She wouldn't stop smiling that night.
Brahmmie's b-day

My peachfriend Erin has a lovely boyfriend who wanted a big big new and flashy tv for his b-day.
I could only give him this (and a little envelope)..
He walked around with it all evening, so cute!
For Rosie

It started with birthdays.
It makes me laugh.
I make collages for special occasions.
This one I made because my dear friend Roos made one for me.
And, yes I love this girl!

Je t'aime les Plages Senegalese

I think this kid lived on Plage N'Gor; we saw him everytime we went there. Most of the time he was burrying himself with sand.
I love Dakar

I was in Dakar, Senegal. I'm still so impressed! In this collage I'll give you an impression of the feeling Dakar gave me.

little Hulk and his sister

A year ago these 2 kids were my first models for a portrait-assignment. I really liked the job and I'm glad the paintings are still hanging in the livingroom...
I painted the kids with their favourite cuddle toy because I wanted them to bond with the painting, just like their parents would.

me and ..

a couple of years ago, Parra showed me the first steps in illustrator, I still can't work with it and stick with photoshop and pencils.
I totally forgot about his translation of my drawing of this girl. He really did a good job, and that in just a couple of seconds!
